The Board of Inquiry’s work may involve matters that are distressing or traumatic.
The following services are available to anyone who is experiencing concern or distress from their participation in the Inquiry or from issues that emerge during the Inquiry.

A free, confidential service providing support to anyone in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, having difficulty coping, or thinking about suicide. This service also provides advice to anyone caring for that person.

MATES is a charity which provides help and support to construction workers in relation to mental health and suicide prevention. The MATES in Mining program supports workers in the mining industry through case management and a 24/7 help line.
MATES is independent of employers and unions.

Provides family and relationship counselling as well as a range of specialist counselling services (including assistance for trauma related issues).
